In 2023, MBAE launched the Student Pathways to Success coalition to promote expansion and development of high school pathways that are onramps to college and careers. This spotlight story about Lana Viola, a student from Whittier Vocational Technical High School who participated in Early College as a vocational student, is illustrative of the power of pathways, particularly when school leaders weave together programs to allow students to gain career exposure, work experience, and college credit.
