Since 1988, MBAE has been at the forefront of promoting improvements in our schools so that all students have access to a high quality education. Our work has contributed to historic gains in student achievement. Massachusetts leads the nation in many measures of student success.

Yet, we still have a long way to go. We need to better align what students are learning with the opportunities that await them when they graduate. Racial and socio-economic achievement gaps, opportunity gaps and skills gaps must be closed in order to ensure EVERY student can engage and thrive in our knowledge economy.
