MCAS Data Key to Equity and Pandemic Recovery
June 16, 2021MBAE is pleased to announce that Karen Clawson Cosmas has joined our team as our first ever Director of Membership. Karen comes to MBAE with a diverse professional background and experience including in politics, non-profit communications and fundraising, and consulting. Karen was part of the leadership team that organized the 2017 Boston Women’s March, and then served as chief executive of that effort for the subsequent two years through the 2019 Boston Women’s March. Karen is a skilled fundraiser, coalition-builder, and relationship manager.
As Director of Membership, Karen will be responsible for recruiting and engaging with business members, and maintaining tight collaboration with them on policy issues and priorities. Businesses join with MBAE because they recognize that an excellent public education system is the essential foundation of an equitable society and strong economy.
