October 31, 2020MBAE releases database of district learning plans for 2020-21 school year
November 9, 2020This database captures information about how Massachusetts school districts plan to meet students’ needs and move learning forward during disruptions from the pandemic in the FY 2020-21 school year. It tracks information including whether districts require a minimum number of synchronous instructional minutes, have plans to address social-emotional learning, prioritize different categories of students for in-person learning, and plan to administer diagnostic tests to measure learning loss among other plan components. MBAE partnered on the project with Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, who have conducted the research under MBAE’s guidance.
